I would classify them more as visionary except that my wife tells me I'm snoring at those times that I think I'm just kicking back with my eyes closed, but, I also have visions when I am definitely awake, like when I'm driving. I know that sounds weird, but when I have had visions of angels, they are very comforting, energizing and stabilizing, so seeing and talking to one while doing some kind of activity is easier than it would be without them being there.
Very interesting dream! Do you usually dream a lot about angels and stuff? I have never heard of Magenta angels to be honest, and would like to learn more about them. When did you have this dream? I remember seeing similar type of gathering with lots of angels but it wasn't a dream it was a vision/mediation. And they (angels) were golden, white and purple in color and wore these spiky "tiaras" (sort of like what Statue of Liberty has on her head). It was in December 2005. And I had another vision and they called it Light Cavalry, with lots of people dressed in white and i remember being accepted there as one of them and given shiny armor, a sword and a tiara as well, only it was like a band around my head, and a white cape.
As far as magenta angels go, I've seen flashes of them in several visions, that's how I knew they existed, but I was never able to get past that. I was told by angels, that I could focus on and speak with, that we can only converse with magenta angels when we are dead, because it is their job to help some of us cross over. Magenta angels don't escort everyone destined for heaven, they only accompany those individuals who either have or would have sacrificed their own lives to save other people's lives.
Not all, but quite a few of the angels I have seen carry swords, so I can relate to your vision. I was also given a sword and a sort of induction into their light, in a simple kind of way. They also point out my faults to me now and then, that's the only part that is not pleasant, but, that has more to do with me than with them.
